Participating in the national league means that we will literally be taking ourselves off to the far corners of the country and beyond... From spending weekends in Brighton, Norfolk and Manchester to taking our annual trip to play against Jersey. Yes! Jersey in the Channel Islands, to play the game we love - and all of this will be self-funded.

The reason we are making a crowdfunding page is to ask our family and friends to support us financially this season in our quest for success and promotion.

TFC's national Premier League team has no sponsorship and does not receive any grant funding (other than a small contribution from the county which goes towards entry into the league). Funding of court hire, coaching, officials, transport (including flights), accommodation, kit and refreshments, totalling over £4000 this year, falls entirely to the players. Many of the team are students with limited means who often aren’t able to commit to away fixtures due to the expense involved.

Your financial donations will directly support our elite athletes by subsidising their travel, providing better quality training venues and much-needed equipment and kit. Perhaps most importantly, the money raised will ease some pressure and allow these talented players to reach their full potential and take TFC to promotion to Division 2. Any donation, no matter the amount, will be gratefully received.
